This is my go-to spot when I'm visiting union square. The service is great (order at the bar) and I love that it feels like a very cozy Irish bar when you walk in yet there's a ton of chairs and tables in the back and outside. There's a full bar and the food is (surprisingly) good! I loooooove the personal-sized shepherd's pie and the curry fries (it's not a powder, you get a side of curry sauce to dip). Fish and chips has a crispy and light batter. The prices are also reasonable so definitely check it out if you don't want to be gouged on those tourist prices.

Becoming my favorite Irish pub in sf. Great beer selection, right around the corner from other great bars like Harlan Records, and the food is good too - and a good value. The staff are really friendly, we recently came in here with like eight people late on a Friday night and they made it easy for us to split our check and were nice to let us push some tables together. Shepherd's Pie was a fantastic late dinner on a chilly night after a few drinks! It's a classic Irish pub vibe inside with wood paneling, good views of baseball on TV from any angle, and a warm homey feeling.

Actually, this is really fun. Wow, what an effort to make a fun Irish pub near Chinatown and the Financial District. It's not really expensive in my experience. The menu has classics in San Francisco. I wanted a Philly cheesesteak with potato salad. It was fun. I sat in the booth..he said it was a confessional booth. It has crosses. There are so many posters and photos on the wall...mostly JFK! haha JFK..and Irish culture photos and articles. It's nice and tucked away on a hidden alley street. I had been here before, but I didn't eat a meal and really see the inside. It's a bar and there are some other drinks sodas and virgin cocktails..I got a virgin mojito and sprite..I ate half. It was fun and I have lived here, but I can't believe this bizarre city. BIZARRE!

Went bar hopping in SF on a Friday afternoon and my friends like to take a stop here. There is an alley way with tables outside and the bathroom is right next to the entrance, tons of places to sit and they have a kitchen! We stopped for a round, and I would say it's your usual Irish bar and we saw someone get mozzarella sticks and we devoured it with all of our drinks! Service was great and the fish and chips looked good too! We just got your regular drinks-- a beer, tequila soda, margarita, Manhattan.
